Our Heritage
Born in the Heart of the Highlands
Highland Luxe Tours was founded in 2008 by Alistair MacGregor, a third-generation Highlander with a vision: to show the world Scotland not through a bus window, but through the eyes of someone who truly calls it home.
Starting with a single luxury coach and a handful of guests from Edinburgh, we’ve grown into Scotland’s most awarded boutique tour operator — while staying true to what made us special: intimate groups, extraordinary access, and world-class hospitality.
Today we carry guests from over 40 countries through some of the most dramatic landscapes on earth — from the mist-wrapped peaks of Glencoe to the fairy-tale shores of the Isle of Skye. Every journey is still curated with the same personal attention Alistair brought to that very first tour.
